MESA – La Maison de la Transition is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant, a grocery store featuring local products, and a third place open to everyone in the heart of Esch-sur-Alzette.
At lunchtime, MESA welcomes residents with vegetarian cuisine—including vegan options—prepared using local and seasonal ingredients. The grocery store offers a selection of products from local producers.Outside of mealtimes, MESA becomes a space for meeting, experimentation, and sharing. In the evenings, the venue regularly hosts workshops on cooking and sustainable food, creative and hands-on workshops, as well as social events organized by citizen collectives and volunteers from Transition Minett.
Among these events are the “MESA Noches,” where the public and volunteers themselves organize the activities—ranging from singing and music to discussions and film screenings: the floor is yours!
MESA is managed by Transition Minett, a nonprofit organization working toward ecological and social transition and supporting citizen-led and local initiatives.
