Whether you’re exploring solo or visiting with a group, step onto the grounds of the country’s only open-to-the-public blast furnace. Trace the journey of steel production at your own pace, wandering through the impressive Möllerei—the historic storehouse where raw iron ore and coke were once kept.
Along the route, clear explanatory panels reveal the fascinating science and story behind the fiery furnace. Follow the path all the way up to the furnace top (the « throat ») for an unforgettable, safe look at where it all happened, plus incredible panoramic views!
