Free projection of the film "La soif du monde"

Against a backdrop of strong growth in demand, an increasing global population and the worsening effects of climate change, water has become one of the planet's most precious natural resources. Filmed in some twenty countries, the film reveals the mysterious and fascinating world of fresh water through spectacular aerial images shot in regions that are difficult to access. It also takes the gamble of contrasting Yann Arthus-Bertrand's famous aerial view of the world with the harsh daily reality of all those who are deprived of water, sometimes dying from it and fighting on the ground to obtain it.

This screening takes place as part of the “Escher Klimawoch”, a week dedicated to climate action and sustainability.

Inscription for the viewing is mandatory at ecologie@villeesch.lu. During the viewing, refreshments and either Pop-corn or Nachos will be offered by the City of Esch.
