A landmark of Europe’s industrial heritage transformed into a hub of innovation and contemporary architecture, the City of Science at Belval, built around the restored blast furnaces, offers a powerful journey between past and future.
This combined guided tour invites visitors inside Luxembourg’s only blast furnace open to the public. At the heart of this monumental structure, expert guides explain how cast iron and steel were produced, bringing industrial processes vividly to life. The visit culminates at a height of 40 metres, offering spectacular panoramic views over the City of Science, the Belval district, and its bold contemporary architecture.
