Starting near the French border by the Conservatory of Music and moving right into the city centre through the longest shopping street in Luxembourg, this alternative tour of Esch (held every July) takes you on a journey to some of the most inspiring sustainable, healthy and local initiatives.
During the walk you will hear about the consequences of our high consumption lifestyle and learn more about our ecological footprint. You will also discover alternatives for mobility, food security, waste, clothing, and community life. You will also meet the people behind the scene, hear their stories and get to know more about their motivation to act.
Please note that the starting point at the Conservatory of Music is not the finishing point. The walk ends at Mesa, the transition-inspired hub, located at 1, rue du Moulin.
