During the latter part of 2024 Konschthal Esch hosts the second part of a major exhibition devised especially for the Cultural Capital Biennale back in July. DIS-PLACED’ brings together the work of a dozen artists from Luxembourg and abroad reflecting on the notion of ‘loss of home’. This part of ‘DIS-PLACED’ will take place on the lower levels of Esch’s Konschthal, and will feature works by high profile artists such as: Taysir Batniji, The Blaze, Marco A. Castillo, Sebastian Diaz Morale, Marlene Dumas, Omer Fast, Samira Hodaei, Tirdad Hashemi & Soufia Erfanian, Candida Höfer, and Lisa Kohl, Gregor Schneider. All the featured artists deal with the concept of ‘home’ and its loss through autobiographical stories or personal accounts gathered from unhoused people. Not to be missed!
