This week the city will come alive with technology and innovation during the second edition of EschTechWeek. Over six days, the programme features conferences, workshops, meetups, and interactive activities exploring the latest in technology and innovation. The 2026 edition focuses on artificial intelligence, with each day offering exciting different perspective on its applications and societal impact.
During the week (and until the 31 March), don’t miss Track Tracy, an interactive installation by Belgian artist duo Daems van Remoortere. Set in Town Hall Square, the work uses AI-controlled beams of light to create a dynamic public choreography. Passers-by are unexpectedly placed in the spotlight, becoming part of a live urban performance that reflects on surveillance, privacy, and media exposure.
