From 27 February to 1 March 2026, Esch will come alive to the rhythm of the Escher Fuesent, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary. For the first time, the renowned cavalcade is organised by the newly established Escher Fuesent ASBL, committed to preserving tradition while bringing fresh momentum to this emblematic event and you are all invited.
What makes the Escher Fuesent truly unique is its inclusive character. The programme brings together different generations and cultures through:
· Carnival entertainment in a retirement home
· A children’s carnival ball
· An evening dedicated to Latin carnival culture
· And, of course, the traditional Luxembourgish parade – a symbol of local charm and heritage
Here is sneak preview of the programme for this year. Most events take place in the Town Hall Square with some are free and other ticketed.

The official kick-off at 11:11 am with the ceremonial first toast to the festivities. Food service begins at noon, with a happy hour (beer only) from 11:11 am to 12:12 pm.
2:30 pm | Escher Cavalcade
The highlight of the weekend, the parade will bring together floats and groups celebrating 25 years of the Escher Fuesent.
4:00 pm – Midnight | Live Music Under the Marquee
Featuring Ikke Hüftgold, Nina Reh, Breitner, DJ Blueteck, Yves Desquiotz and Guy Lepage.
