The members of the Amicale Schëfflenger Kolonien have been collecting tools, objects and documents for years in order to maintain the memory of the work of the steelworkers. Until the beginning of 2015, the collection was housed in a simple garage without access for the general public. It was only in April 2015 that the efforts of the volunteers were rewarded, as a suitable place to display the countless artefacts of the collection was found in a building on the former site of ARBED (now Arcelor Mittal) Esch-Schifflange. Today, visitors can admire and discover authentic objects and machines that have been used by steel workers for decades presented in a well-appointed 110m2 of space.
