In 2014 the Kulturfabrik – a cultural center located in the buildings of a former municipal slaughterhouse, a vast space with two performance halls, a gallery, a cinema, a brasserie, a bistro and several rehearsal rooms – launched the project Kufa’s Urban Art. Ten years later, there are more than 70 murals scattered all over the country, but also in neighbouring cities in France, Germany and Belgium. In this exciting urban walk which covers the city centre of Esch, you can admire more than 50 individual works of art by various artists from different countries and learn about the history of this creative urban initiative.
