Every summer, Esch’s Gaalgebierg Park transforms into a sun-soaked paradise for the Luxembourg Beach Open (LBO). Hosted in the heart of the city, this isn’t just a tournament, t’s a full-blown summer party!

70 teams and hundreds of players bringing their A-game to the sand.
The Perfect Mix: From elite doubles competing on the national Lux Beach Tour to casual, community-focused mixed tournaments, there is a place for everyone.
Festival Energy: When you aren’t watching epic spikes, you can vibe to live music and hit up the lively beach parties.
This massive event isn’t a new trend, it has been growing strong ever since the Escher Volleyball Club (EVBC) kicked it off way back in 1995! Decades later, it’s still the ultimate place to serve, spike, and celebrate the summer.
While LBO is free for spectators, players have to register and pay a fee to join a team. For Beach parties and other entertainment you will need to book a ticket.
