Football in Industrial History – Summer School for 8 to 12 year olds
This summer, the CNCI (the National Centre for Industrial Culture, an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Luxembourg’s rich industrial heritage) invites children aged 8 to 12 to experience a week where sport, creativity, and industrial history come together.
Supervised by cultural mediators and sports educators, this summer school highlights cooperation, diversity, and team spirit in a fun and friendly atmosphere through sports games, creative workshops, meetings, screenings, and activities centred around industrial heritage.

Tuesday | Football day in Ell
Sports games, meeting with players from the Ell football club, and screening of the documentary Um Ball by Tessy Troes, in her presence.
Wednesday | Upcycling workshop at the 1535° Creative Hub in Differdange
Creative workshop focused on the transformation and reinvention of football jerseys.
Thursday | Escape game in Esch-Belval
Painting and collage workshop, lunch on-site, and an escape game centred around industrial heritage.
Friday | Day in Dudelange
Matches and end-of-the-week snack.
