From June to the end of August, every Saturday afternoon from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Rue de l’Alzette, Luxembourg’s longest pedestrian shopping street, comes alive with free entertainment. The entire zone is completely car-free, thus offering a safe, relaxed, and highly accessible environment for strollers, kids, and pedestrians to explore at leisure.
A New Adventure Every Saturday
The best part? No two Saturdays are the exact same! The programming rotates weekly to keep the magic alive all summer long. On any given weekend, you can stroll down the street and immerse yourself in a spectacular variety of free activities, including:
Family & Street Fun: Interactive giant dragons, stilt walkers, artistic face painting, temporary tattoos, and balloon twisters.
Live Performance & Music: Street circus shows, traditional accordion players, lively marching bands, and nostalgic retro musical parades.
Get Moving: High-energy breakdance showcases, double-dutch skipping, and open Zumba or capoeira sessions.
Games & Exhibitions: Pop-up mini-golf for young and old, alongside unique showcases like our classic Vespa exhibition.
