Having opened in 1956, the National Museum of Resistance and Human Rights a must see destinations for those wanting to explore notions of human rights, citizenship, and historical memory. From the 1st of March 2024 the MNR will reopen its doors with an enhanced exhibition surface featuring a thematic journey about the German occupation during WWII in Luxembourg through to the liberation, together with a new Human Rights section dealing with current issues.
