This project is part of the Trampoline exhibition cycle, supporting emerging creatives at the Escher Theatre, coordinated by independent curator Danielle Igniti. Reviving the spirit of the Biennale des Jeunes (launched by the theatre in 1989), Trampoline features three exhibitions each year—in March, May, and October—dedicated to emerging artists.
The first exhibition brings together two young Luxembourgish sculptors living abroad, in the cities where they studied. Both maintain strong ties to Esch through their work, particularly at the Konschthal, where they regularly collaborate.
Artists Robin Bigret (a graduate in sculpture from the Royal College of Art in London) and Arthur Delhaye (a graduate in drawing from ENSAV La Cambre in Brussels) present the results of their artistic research. Bigret explores the notion of time through objects and the unique relationships artists develop with them, while Delhaye examines the connection between the individual and the world, and how everyday life intertwines with global events.
