Hybrid Futures: Rhizomes, Meshworks and Alter-Ecologies

Elektron, this ground breaking roaming platform for cultural experimentation, blending art, science, digital media, and social practice in public space returns to Esch-sur-Alzette with a bold new exhibition exploring the tangled relationship between nature and technology.

Rooted in the rhizomatic philosophy of Deleuze and Guattari and Tim Ingold’s concept of the meshwork, Hybrid Futures envisions a world where biological, digital, and social systems grow together in unpredictable, symbiotic ways. Staged across Esch-sur-Alzette and Esch-Belval, the show brings together visionary artists working at the intersection of art and emerging tech. Together, they sketch radical new ecologies—and alternative futures—for a transforming world.
