This autumn step into the luminous world of Yann Ney, a celebrated Luxembourgish artist, writer, and photographer, with his exhibition Lumières en suspens. Spanning nearly two decades of visual exploration, this show brings together iconic works from his past series alongside striking new creations.
Here, using the Pixelstick and long-exposure techniques, Ney traces fluid, glowing shapes in the night, transforming them into ephemeral sculptures of light that hover between sky and earth. These works invite viewers into a space where light moves like poetry, capturing fleeting moments of beauty in forgotten and overlooked places. The “night wanderer,” (as the artist calls himself), favours urban or natural nocturnal landscapes where he can explore the margins of reality: industrial wastelands, forgotten architectures, natural expanses—transforming them into silent scenes where light becomes movement.
